Stephen Gates passed away quietly at home on January 5, 2022 in Houston, Texas in the presence of his loving wife. He was a kind man that loved art and music and was gifted in both. The world is a better place because he lived.

Steve graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. Steve played baritone sax for the Houston High Rollers band for over two decades. He was a hard working man who loved his family. In his spare time he liked to draw planes and trains, build speakers and fiddle with electronics, especially things that used tubes like stereo amplifiers. One of his inventions he had patented. 

In honor of Steve's life let's remember the good times we had with him, cherish our own personal relationships with him and let his memory live in our hearts forever.
