I knew Randy since childhood.  He and I attended Sunday School together as kids and became friends in our mutual shyness.  I was always running into him too it seemed throughout my childhood and into my high school years.  He was always such a gentle person, always smiling, always sweet.  I think my grandmother was constantly putting us together when we were kids.  Funny looking back on this now.  But Randy was always a good friend.
