Frank was the first person to come up and talk to me on my first day at Garner Junior High School. We were in the library and he started talking. I knew him from then on through high school at MAC. He was an excellent photographer, he knew how to develop the film and make the prints. At Mac he always carried his camera.  I'll bet as lot of the photos in our schools annual are by him. He lived on my street Blakeley Dr and the last year of school and a few years after he lived next door to me at 630 Blakeley Dr. In his bedroom he had had lots of model airplanes hanging from the ceiling, "it's the battle of Midway as seen from below" he explained.  I knew he had moved with his family to North Carolina and never heard from him after that. It's a hell of a thing to try to reconnect with old friends seeking all means available and be unsuccessful and finally you hear that they have died. He never hung out with anyone, he was very outgoing and had kind words for everyone he ever saw. I don't think that was true the other way around. James Kimio Kitchen.
